  ACG Sunderland Preschool provides a quality early childhood education for children aged two to five years. During these early years, children acquire a variety of important skills, knowledge and attitudes that will affect their ability to learn, their personal development, their relationships with others and their future participation in society. ACG Sunderland Preschool encourages children to see learning as both enjoyable and useful and provides a strong foundation for their future intellectual, physical and social development. ACG Sunderland Preschool operates as full day sessions for two to five days per week from 7:30am to each day. The programme runs from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Arrivals before 8.30am must be arranged with the Manager. An after-hours programme is available up to 5:30pm. The Preschool is designed to cater for the educational needs of children at this age. The Preschool is open 49 weeks of the year and is closed statutory holidays and for a three week period over Christmas and New Year. The ACG Sunderland Preschool consists of: A brand new facility Specialist teaching environment . A fully qualified teaching team . A key teacher system so you always know who to talk to about your childs learning and development Access to the College Gymnasium, Auditorium, Art Room, Music Room, Library and Ground The ACG Sunderland Preschool is licensed for twenty-four children. The teacher/child ratio is one to eight, a ratio superior to that required by the Ministry of Education. This ensures quality of care and education for all children in the Preschool environment.
